dear friend,

Welcome to the Smiling at the Future Podcast! I’m so thrilled that you’re here and pray that the Biblical wisdom shared in the episodes will encourage, strengthen, and propel you to closer Christ-likeness as we walk the path of singleness together.

The podcast was born in 2020, when I realized that there weren’t many Biblically strong resources for Christian single women to refer to as they pursue living this stage of life with excellence. The Lord has kindly put me in a place where I know many godly women and men who are very willing to share their wisdom on living out the very practical aspects of the Christian life. After much consideration and prayer, the Smiling at the Future Podcast was begun in an effort to meet this need. I’ve had the tremendous privilege of talking with these women and men about the nuances of the Christian life for single ladies. As I’ve grown in my own walk through these conversations, I’ve been blessed to see that these episodes have resonated with and been helpful to many other single women around the world, too. Praise the Lord!

My prayer is that together we grow more and more into the Proverbs 31 woman who smiles at the future as she serves the Lord with her life and that we would be Titus 2 women who wisely live in such a way that the Word of God is honored.

I always love to hear from those who are listening in, so please send me a note to say hello or to offer ideas for episode topics that would be helpful to you!

Sincerely in Christ,
Christi Rose

I’m a 37 year old Californian native working for a Christian ministry, I am active in my church, I love spending time with my family, and I am the founder of the Smiling at the Future Podcast. When I am not studying and reading for an upcoming episode, I love to spend my time with other believers in settings that provide for deep conversations, in the kitchen baking, on a hiking trail, or with my little nieces and nephews.

I am surrounded by a group of women who pray over every episode. My behind the scenes team includes Andrea Cline (who does the audio editing) and Lara McVicker (who does social media). I am also so grateful to the many friends and family who have poured into the podcast through their prayers, conversations centered around the episode topics, and encouragement all along the way.
